Yes, I'm aware that it looks a heck of a lot like Niki's station wagon.... My wedding dress, also purchased second, was virtually identical to hers. We're identical twins. Deal with it! :)
Sitting at the car dealership last night, I cried when I signed the paper to sell the Mini to the dealer. They felt so bad for me that they offered to take a cellphone picture of me hugging the Mini. I took them up on it:
You can see the new car on the right, waiting to whisk me away. Here's a slide show of the pictures I just took to document Sonia's and my new chariot:

I miss you, Pepper White Mini Cooper, but I love my new car, too!

woo-hoo! Fancy!!! :)
I love the Jetta but 'sniff sniff' I LOVED the mini cooper. Someday I will own one. When Rose is old enough to fit normally in the backseat. :)
Does this mean we can't drive past Knauz when you're visiting any more?!
I can't decide if I shouldn't show my face around Mini dealerships or if just because I drove a Mini for 7 years, I qualify for lifetime coolness in their eyes. I'm thinking I shouldn't show my face....
We can ride past in my car, they'll never know!
Does that car have one of those backward-facing seats behind the regular seats? The kind that regular Station wagons used to have? Or have those been deemed unsafe for children??? I used to love riding in my mom's station wagon, and if I had one, I would not have to wedge the children into my car like Tetris blocks whenever I want to bring more than three of them with me!
I like your new car too but for me, nothing will beat a Mini Cooper. Anyway, everything changes: What you like now, you may not like tomorrow. So, where’s your Mini Cooper now? Congrats on your new Jetta SportWagen SE!
I don’t see anything wrong with driving a “mommy,” I mean, a station wagon at all. I, myself, own a station wagon – a Hyundai Elantra. I would say that it matches any class rival for its refinement, robust feel, and strong warranty, making it worth all my dollars – and that is saying something!
