We just had a lovely four days with Sonia's Grandma JoAnn and Grandpa Spike (my parents).... Sonia had a blast showing them all of her tricks and posing for at least 400 pictures (and that is no exaggeration). She napped really well while her grandparents were here-- they wore her out!
Sock monkeys (I think I got my love of placing objects on top of babies' heads from my father)
Grandma Jojo fed Sonia her bedtime bottle every night.
Wow! You can see for miles up here!
Sonia now loves to play with the cat door all the time. She especially loves it when someone gets on the other side (like her daddy did) and plays, too. Marge thought we were all nuts.
Andrew made us some guac in his brand-new and beautifully seasoned molcajete that Niki & Corey sent him for his birthday. The guac was amazingly tasty.
We took Sonia to the arboretum to take pictures among the daffodils, but she wasn't in a smiley mood.... She was very suspicious of all this nature business. It's been a long winter since she's spent much time outside!
Whatchoo talkin' 'bout, Grandpa?
We took her to Kingston Park to swing-- her favorite activity.
Sosinini served as Grandpa Spike's assistant while he modified her Mini to be a push toy.
Ornery baby playing in Grandma Jojo's suitcase
Look at the camera, Sonia! Oh well-- it's a fabulous picture of my beautiful mom, at least.
We had such a great time-- Sonia misses you already!
